Digital Credential Service Provider – The Foundation of a Digital Hungary
The Digital Credential Service Provider (DCSP) is about much more than developing a mobile application. It is building a nationwide digital infrastructure that will reshape the relationship between citizens and the state in the long term. The Digital Credential Service Provider (DCSP) is Hungary’s response to the Digital Europe 2030 strategy, aimed at creating a secure and unified digital citizenship ecosystem that establishes new foundations for digital identification and administration.
Building a system of this scale goes far beyond developing a single application or delivering a standalone development project. It requires research, UX and UI design, technology, accessibility, analytics and long-term standards to work together as one coherent system.

Research – starting with real user needs
When designing a digital service for millions of people, assumptions are not enough. We support the development of DCSP with continuous UX research to understand different user needs, behaviours and pain points.
Research findings do not exist in isolation: they feed directly back into product design and the continuous optimisation of the user experience. From UX research and product design to mobile application development, Trendency contributes at multiple stages to the ongoing evolution of the DCSP experience.
UX & UI – a consistent experience across an entire ecosystem

Trendency’s role in DCSP does not stop at research and design. With our mobile application and frontend development expertise, we also take an active role in implementation.
Alongside development, we contribute to frontend standards and governance frameworks that support the consistent, sustainable operation of public digital systems in the long term. These include frontend governance, component logic, as well as UX and accessibility principles.
This is particularly important because DCSP is not a product that is simply developed once and considered finished. It is a digital infrastructure that continues to evolve and expand.
Analytics – because a digital service is never truly “finished”
A digital ecosystem serving millions of users needs to be measured as well as understood.
Trendency’s analytics experts contribute to data-driven operations by developing unified KPI and measurement frameworks, providing implementation support and creating data visualisation solutions.
Analytics therefore means much more than reporting. It allows us to measure how digital services perform, identify opportunities for improvement and provide a solid foundation for future product decisions.
